Sounds awesome
Left out this morning going to fish Forest Ingram lake. Got there and I think the kayak club must have been having a bass tournament. It was packed and really nowhere to park. I’ve been wanting to try the river part of the duck for a while so I did. Second weekend in a row I’ve caught, for me a bunch of fish. Caught 2 bass over 4 lbs and no telling how many from 6 inches to 2 pounds. They were stacked up on the bridge columns. Caught probably 20 medium size gills. Left there and went to the handicap pier. Small gills and bass everywhere. No crappie there either. Oh noticed an older gentleman sitting on the rocks bank fishing when I got there. He was still there when I got back and I saw him pull in what looked like I slab while I was loading. After I finished I walked down there and said having much luck?He said caught a few. Look in that basket. He had a basket full of crappie and Big gills. I just said yes sir, that’s how it’s done and walked away shaking my head. Lol.

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
I usually say a few too, today was just a couple . Sounds like a good day.
The only Duck River I know of is in Tennessee.......................
This one is in Cullman. Only been open 5-6 years. Pretty nice place.

I think I have seen you post on the Duck fishing reports facebook page. There have been some monster bass caught out of there recently. And, surprisingly, the crappie seem to be doing well too. I kinda figured the lake would get crowded with a bunch of stunted fish competing for food but it doesn't seem to be the case, at least not as of now.

Anyone that likes bass fishing that’s the place to be. It’s aggravating trying to crappie or gill fish because you can’t keep the bass away. When they first opened it you could catch a limit of crappie anywhere. With all the pressure they have gotten harder to find.
