In further examination of the finger it just needed a couple wraps of electrical tape.

Nice catch and report but I’m thinking like Butch. Remus has got to step up his camera game. Don’t know if you have trailer steps or not, but I bought some thinking they are way cheaper than an Emergency Room Visit.

Trying to visualize the event at the ramp of B. Dawg trying to winch the Toon up on the trailer and slipping and falling into the water. I think I know why Uncle Remus didn’t get photos or Videos!!! He still had 8 Minner Rods out the back!! Nothing can distract him!! Dawg is blessed to have such a partner. ??

Great report till the bad and ugly part. My question is why didn't you hook the troller battery to the crank battery. Putting a tool on the trailer with a troller is a pain.
Hope your finger heals up quick.
5 years on a battery is pretty long
Great job putting uncle Remus on some fish. Sorry to hear about you going swimming. I'm glad that it was only your pinky finger that you hurt. From what I heard it could of been a whole bunch worse.
The word at Ebinezier landing was that you smelled like a old wet dog and that you went streaking across the parking lot???

Couple of things said that are not quite the way it happened. I was on the ponton and about 6 feet from being on the trailer with the pontoon. I stepped down from the front of the toon to the A frame part of the trailer. When my weight shifted to the outward side of the frame that's when I fell. The toon moved because of the weight being off of it lifting up and caused me to fall. As for the cut I don't remember exactly where it came from. The second fall was when I tried to get up, I was being pulled down by my shoes holding the water as if I had diving flippers on. Just glad it was only 2 to 3 of foot of water. The slope of the ramp didn't help either. We had a plan, but Legs aren't long enough and I ain't limber anymore! Yes, TB I do have a ladder on the trailer, but it was 6 feet away!

Just glad you came out as unscathed as you did!
