That's a nice one
I thought I would go & give flint a try tonight. Arrived at about 6pm & left at around 8:30pm. Caught a lot of 8-9" crappie. A few over 10". I did manage to land this hog. I'm guessing in the 12-13" range. I was fishing in 12' -15' water. Vertical jigging around stumps using crappie magnets. Fast lane seem to be the color of choice. I sure hope this is good news for this lake for years to come. I did return all my fish back to the water. I really do want to see this lake become what it once was. It is a small lake with much less boat traffic. Here is a couple pictures of ones I caught. They were definitely healthy fish. I may try again Sunday after rain goes thru.

I used to fish Glenn Flint in the early 70’s. Glad you are catching fish there. Nice report. (Dang I’m getting old. )

Went back to flint yesterday morning. On water at 6:30 am off at noon. Caught more 8-9" crappie than I could count. They were everywhere. I did manage a few 10" ers. All went back in the water. Fast lane & salt & pepper seem to be the best colors of crappie magnets. Of course with a lil sauce added to them. It was fun catching but I'm not sure there is enough for these smaller crappie to eat to survive. But I guess we will see. There was a lot of guys fishing there yesterday so I'm guessing word is getting out that the fishing is picking up there.
