The griffin odyssey is in my opinion the best vise on the market for the money....

Yeah I've heard many people that like and recommend that vise. So is that the vise you've decided to go with?

I have been using the Griffin about 6 years now and has worked well for me. Pretty good vise for the money.

Knowing what I do maybe save up for the one you want and like most. I look at the Peak as the best lower end of pricing for a good rotary, but I don’t know every vise out there either and am sure there are lots of new ones since I bought mine. Heck it too me several buys before I stopped looking, lol! First I bought a Danvise and used it for a year, then saw the Renzetti Saltwater Traveler with Cam jaw and bought it. Thought I was done, but then I ran into the Nor-vise and I bought it and still tie on it all these years later.

I also know there are a lot of guys loving the Regal Vises!

My first vise was the cheaper AA vise. It worked but sometimes didn't hold the jig well. Saved and bought the Peak and I'm so glad I did. If there is one you really like then saving is what I would recommend as well. Otherwise like me I would never truly be happy settling for less.
