KABOOM!
on the grassy knoll and borrow a huge 1/4 oz road runner in hot pink with a huge something er other hot pink and yellow tailed UGLY plastic on it and tie it on !
I mean I had no choice , my host was hitting em way out there in the middle of a small lake and I was just in the audience . I hurt yellow bass and black bass but NOT a crappie one until I said ok ok ok ,let me borrow one of those bro !
Sure enough cast 4.3 miles out there , let it sink a while , wind it back slowly with the rod tip high and KABOOM !
The really interesting part was how bad they wanted this big ole whopper bait and how far down they could get it as you were cranking it along . Most of them had it way down in there and that was the highly interesting part of this episode.
So never say never and to be sure it might be a good idea sometimes to carry a huge heavy bait that you can cast into outer space ....it could happen you know
KABOOM was the word after work that day ....

Nice color bait and success. An ole dog can be taught new tricks after all!
