Be sure to register your transducer when you get it or they won't honor the warranty (well they do but it goes from when the ducer was manufactured). I had this issue with Garmin back in Dec, they said there's nothing they can do about it and if you do not have a receipt from a retail shop or online retailer they will only honor the warranty from the day it was made, which in my case made it out of warranty before I got it. After several back and forth emails and a call to talk to someone in garmin fishing who confirmed the transducer was defective (that I didnt break it), they eventually offered me $10 off a new one.
