    Default first jig

Don't laugh guys, at least not out loud. After much reading and after watching a lot of youtube videos, I decided I wanted to give jig tying a try. An order from Woods and Water, a few more things from bass pro, and a $25 starter vise, and away we go! First observation, I need new bifocals. I suppose it's only fitting that my first jig would be tied on April's Fools day.

Not bad, not bad at all for first jig. It will work. Nothing like catching them on a jig you created. Welcome to the addiction.

That’s a good jig for the first effort. Put it aside to look back on as you progress, it’s the only first one you’ll ever do. Looking forward to your new ties.

I’m no expert but I think it looks great.
Congratulations on your first hand tie.

Great start. It will catch fish. Glad you gave it a try...you will love doing this. But I have to warn you...its addictive. Worst that heroin...only takes one try and you're hooked.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the words of encouragement. I was doing ok until the wife came in and saw my vise clamped to her end table beside the couch. Next, she noticed the mess on the floor. Oh well, I've been in trouble before.
