From what I gather most people don't seem to like the new update. Each user is different though. Glad you like it.
A new Livescope software version 19.10 came out a while back and I've been watching and reading reviews about it the last week, I updated mine last Saturday and man what a difference!
The new update has a color limit button which helps clear the inference up on the screen even when the gain is set high which makes it easier to see your jig.
It also has a ghost tree auto button so you don't have to keep changing this setting at different depths.
I tried it out Saturday and it was awesome, I was hesitant to do the update because the last two I wasn't very impressed with.
Just passing some info.

Glad you like it. Haven’t updated mine since getting it almost 3 years ago. Been happy with the performance overall and found most of my frustrations were self-inflicted. Am from the “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” school, fingers crossed.

"Some people would complain if you didn't hang them with a new rope." I also like "They would complain if you gave them all 1 million dollars, because you didn't give them 1 million and 1 dollars." My point being, you can't make everyone happy and it is good that you like the update.
Nice to keep track, shoould be at the last update by the time I get it.
Seen today there's a new Livescope 34 coming out in March, Garmin is denying it but Bass Pro put it in their sale ad. Lol
I'm still on the fence about the update. I tried it about a week ago and wasn't happy when the blue pallet had a black background when the limit feature was running. Rolled back and finished the day with the older version. Monday went to the clear water down south and really wasn't happy with what I was seeing. Seemed like more of the dead/blind area, so updated again. Ran Green and Copper screens with default settings and really wasn't dissatisfied at all. Work In Progress is all I can figure out, but options are always a good thing.
grizwilson thanked you for this post
Some guys thinking now the latest update is worse so garmin can claim easier that the new transducer is better.
