I used a 13' Huckabee and I can tell you it was a tank! They can muscle the biggest of crappie to the surface. "You can yeet a 14" crappie into the live well from the bow." My GF is right and the construction is up there with the best. My 2 cents, I wouldn't own one for jigging all day long because they weigh a ton. Remember I'm talking about using a 13' rod and within the first 40 mins of jigging my bum elbow was not happy and throbbed for a couple days afterwards. When jigging I typically use a carbon fiber rod for the lightness and feel. They are usually fast action, so you have the fish bending the rod back to the 2 piece section. I fish 14' Ozarks and Jenkos for spider rigging and they are a bit lighter than a TH rod. I don't think I'd use one of them for jigging all day either.
