By the way these containers are just like the ones from ProTec and TJ’s Tackle except 3oz in size.
[QUOTE=SuperDave336;4211548]Those are similar to the ones I bought. I sort of wish I had bought 4 oz containers now.
i found about 60 of these type jars (glass) next to a county recycle bin. Brought em home, washed em and now they are ready to go.

Yup me too…. Wish I’d purchased 4 oz but these work good just hold less. All of my powder paint is then put in sealed marine tote with reusable desiccant pack. I would like to think with all of this I shouldn’t have any storage issues other than running out of space….lol.

You will not have any problems, I use cups in a cardboard box in the house and have some old paint that is just fine.
I have a jar of Protec green I bought when it was a brand new product around 30 years ago and it still works fine. Powder paint is basically plastic powder that melts when exposed to heat. It's not going to go bad unless it gets wet and cakes up.
Don't worry, catch crappie.
Yeah I’ve only had one powder paint go bad. It was yellow chartreuse and from spike it. Someone gave me the hat like 6 years ago and I finally got around to using it last year and I guess somehow some moisture got to it and was very clumpy. I tried breaking it up but was more trouble than what it was worth. 1st and only time I’ve seen this. I have paints 8 years old and not like this.
I dip all my jigs from the 3 oz. size jars. I ran out of them and saw this. Going to order a case today. I paid $1.49 for powder paint almost 30 years ago. Jar of red still has the price on it.
