Fishing with my Son
Sunday morning wasn't the most preferred conditions, but I needed to get out for some fishing with my son. It was windy, so we ran up a creek to start our adventure. Calm waters were peaceful on this morning. We managed one off species fish, a 32" Alligator Gar that was quite confusing to me while reeling her in. She ran like a bass, head shakes like a crappie and rolled like a catfish. So I was completely surprised when I laid eyes on her. We moved out to the main lake. Checked a couple spots connected with 3 crappie, 2 shorts and one keeper that flipped off while being lifted in the boat, my son learned that lesson well. We fished some vertical structure and some brush in 17- 20' fow. Oh yeah, did I mention it was windy? After battling the wind and waves for about 3 hours and not much to show for our efforts we headed to the ramp for the day. Having very little time on the water show in a hurry, in your results.

The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
