Is that legal? Can you give away more than your limit in Alabama.

I fished Bradford today on Redstone Arsenal, fish were belly on the bottom but I managed a limit and returned or gave away another 25 or 30 larger fish. All fish came spider rigging 4 poles 6 feet deep in 7 feet of water. Best bait was a Chartreuse and Pearl Bobby Garland on a 1/16oz jig head. I also kept 5 Yellow Perch that were 12 to 13 inches long, largest I've ever caught. The water was 42 degrees at 9AM and had warmed to 46 by the time I left at 3:30PM. Visibility was about 18 to 24 inches. Photo tomorrow when I clean them!

Never had more than 30 in my boat, just hand off a few of the larger fish that I normal toss back to a couple boats that were right next to me. They were using jig and bobber or casting, but weren't set up for spider rigging. The fish wanted it dead slow and about 6 inches off the bottom. Bite was very soft today. They were blessed with my luck.

Is there anyway to get a small flat bottom in Bradford Sinks?
Great report. Awesome job. Never caught perch long enough to keep/eat. I can remember when I was younger and struggled for fish...some of my better memories was being gifted fish. I equally enjoy gifting them now. As far as the limit and green jeans got a feeling they aren't allowed on the premises.

There are two unimproved ramps for launching a flat bottom or other small boats off a trailer.
Good job !

You have to have access to Redstone (military active or retired, Federal or DoD civilian and dependents) then check the web site [ Hunting and Fishing :: Redstone Arsenal :: US Army MWR ] Look under range report. If open you have to physically go to the Sportsman Center for a pass and turn it back after you leave.
