The PST's. Think the Power-Troller way to stiff for just pulling cranks. I use 2 of the Bass Pro Crappie Maxx Tightline in 18'. They are ok and had Cabela's points so they were free! LOL
Looking to add some 18’ rods for pulling cranks and was wondering which would be better the PST’s or the Pow-R-Trollers I’m not planning on pushing any these will be strictly for pulling and help would be appreciated thanks.

I use both PST's and Power Trollers to pull (and push with the Power Trollers) and they both work fine. But the Power Trollers are very stiff. I do worry that they could rip a crankbait out of a fish's mouth but to my knowledge it hasn't happened yet.

I vote PSTs. More flexibility is what you want. I even use some old super flexible 12' Pinnacle rods sometimes when pulling and they work great.

Thanks everybody I have some 18' PST's coming from the Crappie Depot in Batesville we had a little mix up the other day on them but they are taking care of me.
