I'll be fishing out of Lake Talquin Lodge March 1 - 14. It will be my first time on the lake. I have been studying the map of the lake and hope to long line 7 rods for the most part. It's been 4 long years of family health problems and I need a trip to put it all behind me. Anyone fish out of that camp?
There's plenty folks there that will be glad to give U advice. I'm down there about every other week this time of the year so give me a shout when I'm down. PM me if U like.
I've fished Talquin the past 2 Januarys, as mentioned above be carefull especially when there is some chop on the water, there are plenty of tree tops in 30ft of water justa few inches under the surface. I've had decent luck spider rigging creek channels, but the guys I've seen do the best are longlining in the Winter, good luck and have fun.

I'll be hooking up the Ol Hillbilly Deluxe today and heading down there in the morning to fish with my daughter for a couple days. I'll be camping at Luther Hall landing across from the island. Looks like it's going to be a nice weekend. Maybe we will all catch few.

If weather continues head to the pads in the creeks. Caught some in 4 ft. Sunday morning. Gonna be a wet week.
