Haven't made it back to Wateree yet cutbait, but will keep your suggestion in mind! Coming up on six day break and hope to get to go! Were you at the same place you told me or did you move locations? PM me! You got some good looking swim baits!
The crew from wateree were really keeping me busy!!!

How fast are you pulling the A rigs?
I'd rather troll for the stripers than cast. A Rigs put a hurting on the shoulder casting them. Saw a couple guys casting the smaller rigs with only three swim baits on them when Remus and I were down there. They didn't catch anything that I could see. We were fairing pretty good on them trolling but never hit the sweet spot. Had some doubles and a triple on one a rig but one came off from the rig half way in. I guess the question is from most is speed but also the distance out from the boat plays a big part. What is the normal distance for getting down when trolling with the big motor at 1.5 or 1.7 ??? Could a larger swivel be added with an egg sinker above it to get lower at a shorter distance?? I don't need the extra weight add if there is a better way! Someone got an answer to this so all will know?
