Welcome to the site. You can post that in the Personal Classifieds here.
I appreciate all the welcomes that I have received. I don't really crappie fish much but I do make it to Silver Lake here in a Washington state about every year. Most of my time is spent chasing kokanne, walleye, bass, salmon, sturgeon, and halibut.
The real reason for joining this site is a bit somber and I'm thankful I'm doing this over the internet because my eyes are already watering. My father was "Zinger" on this website. He passed away in September 2018. He taught me all I know about hunting and fishing. I miss him every time I go out on the water or in the field and I know he is there with me. I currently live in Vancouver, WA but went home a couple times a year to get a fishing trip in with him. Can't even put into words how much I miss those trips.
My mom is working towards selling the house and moving into something smaller and we need to sell my dad's pondtoon. I am trying to sell the boat for my mom to take that stress off of her. So far I haven't had much luck trying boat trader and few others I think mostly because it is such a unique boat setup. I know from other fishing forums that new users usually have to have a certain number of posts before putting up classifieds ads. Is that the case here? I feel like this would be a great place to find a good buyer for the boat and I know my dad would be happy to have someone from this group get the boat. He spoke about it often to me.
If someone could let me know if posting the boat up in the classifieds I would greatly appreciate. Thank you
Jim

Sorry to hear about your father Zinger. I do remember him. I just looked and I seen that one of his last posts was consoling me when my dog Ringo died. He loved dogs, and was a great man. So sorry to hear about his passing.

Welcome to the site from North Carolina. Sorry to hear about the loss of your father and I know all too well exactly how deeply it hurts because I can remember losing mine over twenty years ago just like it was yesterday. I don't know that it ever really gets easier... but it does get more tolerable with time. Thanks for being there for your mother and doing whatever it takes to support one another and see each other through an awfully difficult part of this life. Good luck with the sale of the house and the pondtoon and may God Bless you and your remaining family.

Welcome from Bartlett, TN, I lost my Dad years ago & I still think about him, all the time. He was a farmer and we always went to thee farm with fishing poles or guns, he believed that a person should have a little fun everyday- And we did.
Sorry for your loss
