Trolling Sinclair can be really good in October and November. I have had good luck the few times I've been in Fall, but don't fish much this time of year, always chasing whitetails. But, I hit it hard (time permitting of course) from January to April. I will say that when I've fished in Fall, it was great. No jet skiers and fewer bass boats running around and the weather was really nice. Never did much day time fishing from May to September, just too much water traffic.
The back of any of the larger creeks should produce at least some fish. Island, Rooty, Nancy Branch, Optimist Island are good spots to try. I would start in 15-20 feet of water and adjust from there.

I try to keep the water temperature under 70 degrees to troll. Sinclair is about 100 miles south of me. It works best for me when the water reaches 50 in early spring and begins to curtail when it reaches the upper 60's. It works the same to every lake i go to.
