Because of weather, late March is a crap shoot in SE Oklahoma. Wister followed by Pine Creek are my favorites. But cold rain and flooding kills the fun. It seems to happen about 50% of the time that plans on this board are made LOL. Kaw is usually far enough west to be out of the firing line of early season moisture, but late march is early for that part of the state even if its warmer than normal. However, it can be spectacular for big fish if the pre-spawn fishing conditions are right. If you can, wait until the week before to reserve accommodations and remain flexible.
