Yep, I'm buying 2 new batteries for the trip myself.
Another cold rainy day. I'm waiting on the rain to stop before I head to work, decided to make scalloped potatoes while I wait and, looking at the forecast, I'll use the ham bone for some bean soup later in the week.Nothing like bean soup on a cold day, except maybe chili or stew.
I figured out during fall camp that one of my TM batteries was junk, and they're 7 years old, so I have two new 31 series batteries coming. Just in time for the D'arbonne camp in November. "Break Out Another Two hundred"

Hey, you did good then Jerry. You got 7 years out of them!
I have OCD "Obsessive Crappie Disorder"
I don't use mine as hard as some of you, mostly slow trolling or for positioning the boat for anchoring. I put them in the heated barn on a block of wood in the winter and top them off a couple of times between November and March. I'm not complaining, I know 7 years is exceptional.
X2! Can’t beat that, 7 years.

Bought my Louisiana fishing license tonight. It's good until June 30th so I'm good for D'arbonne camp, when I go down later in November and again in the spring. Hopefully I get my 60.00 worth of fun.

I forgot about that. Lived there so long it did not dawn on me until now that I need an out of state license. haha
I went with a full year this time. Usually I buy daily for 5.00 a day but I may be leaving the boat at my sons this winter so I'll be able to fish more over Thanksgiving.

Weatherman says it’s 26 degrees out this morning.....gonna be a chilly ride in the contractors wagon ......
Lesson learned? Do not park the truck or mow lawn next to truck if there is peastone in the exit path of the mower deck.
