If you have time for a question ?
Just recently I got back into crappie fishin .
3 days ago I bought 2 180 led submersible green lights.
I've used the lights 3 times now .
Not seeing any crappie .
Alot of bream .
should I start shallow or deep .
Deepest water 20 feet.
Real shallow on 1 end 1 1/2 feet.

I never see the directly in the lights reach. If you have bait fish then you have predator fish there as well. Try dropping on the outside of the light and see what you come up with.

How long are you leaving them in? Sometimes it takes a couple of hours for me to get a decent amount of bait to arrive. Sometimes I'm just in the wrong area and have to move.....

X2. Night fishing can be tough and very rewarding. If i dont have a mess of bait fish after about 2hrs Im moving. Different depth of water, next brush pile or channel. Once you find out their night pattern it gets easier.
