Ohh YEAH! You'll likely have to battle some goo's and drum, but I think you'll manage.

Ok I know there was pre fishing going on this weekend. Anyone know what the bite is like? We know were going to have fun and maybe catch fish but any updates on the Lake status would be nice. I am really getting excited looking forward to the gathering.

Pretty tough for a lot of the guys and gals. 70 teams in the Jack and Jill tournament and nobody broke a 1 lb average on 7 fish. Pretty split between dipping and rigging from what I hear.

The fishing on Sunday was outstanding. We dipped trees and did very well. We ended up with 20 nice eaters over 9 inches...Caught a lot of nice quality fish nearly 9 inches. We don't keep anything under 9 inches, but we caught a lot of fish just under 9 that were thick, had nice filets on em...hard to throw some of those back!!! We fished 12 to 15 feet down in 25 to 50 fow. Timber on river channel drop-offs was most productive. Used Capps and Coleman rigs on slip bobbers with minnows and crappie nibbles.
