Might ask Mrdux--he has a Suzuki.I would sure suspect they are good outboards. There is only one known cure for boat fever...
What's your thoughts on Suzuki motors? Thinking about a seaark procat 200, not sure if you can spider rig off the front or not. We ben catching a few catfish and wish I had a boat for both. Cat fishing can really make a mess in my boat lol and might like the shade with the Bimini to. Just a thought

I have a DF115 on a 2072 SeaArk bought it new in 2004 and all I have done to it is change the oil and had a trim solenoid go bad.

Call Big River Marine. He sells Yamaha, Suzuki, and a few others. He claims the Suzukis are almost indestructible. Never had one come back for a warranty issue

I've sold almost 700 Suzuki's. Only had one issue with a miss matched MAP sensor because the EPA keeps changing the format for programming. I've NEVER had one single mechanical issue or warranty claim in any of those 700 engines of ALL sizes from the 2.5-250hp.

I know nothing about engines but almost all the dock repair barge style boats at LOZ run Suzuki. I've heard they have more low end power than other outboards.

Lots of pontoon brands, offshore boats, most of the Catfish Tourney Guys, and work rigs use Suzuki engines for basically one reason--They Don't Break and virtually easy to maintain. They have a Six year warranty that you'll never use. They also have More Displacement, Faster on Top End, More Low End Torque, Oil Bathed Timing Chain instead of a Belt, More Fuel Efficient, Fewer Repairs, Longer Warranty, and Less Initial Cost than the two famous brands. They are MUCH QUIETER when running than the other brands too. You'll look back to see if it's peeing when you go from WOT back to idle. They are really quiet. Suzuki is the best in the business IMHO.
Dang the SeaArk, let me put one on an Xpress, Ranger, or Excel boat for ya.

Had a 150 Suzuki on a 18' Hydrosports Aerocobra. This was a good while back when I first got into bass fishing. It was a flyer. I'd bet the new ones are fine.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.
