Believe it or not, this storm shouldn't have much affect on the river stage unless it drops a lot of rain north of us. From the looks of it, it'll move thru fast enough to keep rain totals down. The problem is that the river is rising a little up north right now. Latest forecast shows a small rise down here around the 1st of July but it's supposed to start dropping before the 7th. If that doesn't change, we should be ok. The forecast includes 48 hours of future rainfall so it shouldn't change much due to the storm. We will just have to keep playing it by ear. I'm hoping we don't push it back to the following Friday since I'm getting wisdom teeth removed

Well, the forecast updated this morning and is now calling for the river to start rising on the 28th and start falling again on the 8th. Looks like the 7th won't be any good. Only supposed to rise from 28.9 to 30.9 but we would probably be wasting our time on the 7th.
