I fish it often, but out of all the lakes nearby (Chicot, Miller's, Crooked Creek, Cocodrie , and Cazan's) it is my least favorite. The beauty is unequalled, but if you don't know where to fish at certain times of the year, it's difficult to catch a mess. There is so much pressure on it too. You don't see pressure like that on the other lakes, except for Millers. If you've never been, it's worth going. But don't expect to catch a whole lot. Now, I do well on the bream later on. You can find some bream beds pretty easy working the shoreline, but as we all know, that sac-a-lait is a different animal.
That's a nice stack of blacks...Good job!!!!
