with a 20' boat and 16' rods, i would think that would afford a little more room for tm noise, I would like to try just a 45lb hand control with one of those foot buttons, tighten it down and make it face 6 o'clock. may not work perfect but man it couldnt hurt, after getting spanked sunday, im ready to try something else

Would the advantages gained out weigh the expense..how much would you really need to use this option?

would you plan on running a different battery for the rear motor or would you just use your batteries you already have in the boat. im sure there are advantages to this but remember a tm does not pull very good in reverse I would think you would have to do like mo money said

For $200 i could rig something up, with new battery. When i get to fish 1.5 days a week, it makes the days available much more enjoyable to be able to control my boat when wind doesnt cooperate. plus i hate fooling with the chains and socks

i would def run a separate battery, but I want to try a 12v to see what kind of difference it makes, may have to move up to a 24v for higher winds and longer days. but with the luck ive had pulling cranks in wind on the 24v, I think they may could share batteries. Just take some research on the water

Default Engine Mount Verse Drift Socks or Chains

Terry Stewart runs a Terrova on the rear of his boat. He back trolls it to get the forward speed he wants using the remote to adjust the back speed. It works like a champ for him. He has it facing backwards so the rear TM is actually pulling forward from the rear of his boat. He's a great fisherman and finished second in Grenada this past weekend.
