    Default Electronics and rigging

Well I'm going to pull the trigger and order my retirement boat next month ( still have 3 more years) but I haven't decided on electronics. I've got a 2010 Alumacraft with a 898 di/si and a 798 upfront with bee ready rod holders and a 80 terrova.
I've run hummingbird for 10 years now but I really like the garmen units. So while it's cold outside and I can't go fishing till Christmas Day let's here your thought on how to rig it up.
I'm thinking a 12"" unit in dash and a 10" up front with the new ultrex. Not sure on which spyder rig holders to get. And now that Evinrude is offering there 10 year warranty on the new G2 I'm thinking about one of those also. Never seen one run and would like to know about the noise level if anyone has any experience with them.
So what do you all think??? Oh it's a Ranger 1880 MS.

I think the New 1880 ms is a awesome rig and with a 200 g2 on the back
If you've been running HB probably stay with HB. the New maga imagined looks really good. And will link to Tm.
As for rod holders we've been running syderlok's this year, for rigging and pulling cranks, they work great !
Congrats on getting a great boat!

Well that is gonna be some heavy artillery...I would recommend the Cumberland Crappie 360 rod holders. Excellent, no tools required, full adjustment and they break down for easy storage, and very sturdy. I had Bee Readys and these are way better.

Thanks. Got caught in a big gust of wind last spring and all my rods just blew sideways. What a mess that was.

X2 on Brian at BBG Marine. Great guy great prices and fast shipping.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Anyone know anyone that installs?? Don't want it for free just want to participate in the set up. Last time the boat was delivered without any consultation at all.
Also anyone use King Kong or balzout mounts?? Really like those. I did like the raised mount from Cumberland too.
