Great news. That is a really nice fish. In most peoples stories that would be 2.5lb. You have me beat. ^5
I have no idea what my personal best is. Guess I need to start carrying a scale.

Charles is quite accurate on his weights. We had the fish weight at 1.89, but fortunately for us, the official scales had it at 1.92. Those electronic scales come in quite handy when we are in tournament fishing.
Congratulations on your PB and I hope you get that 3 lb one soon.
Very nice Crappie Hunter, I'm from Durham but live in eastern NC now . I spend 30+ years in The Marine Corps and like you am retired. I haven't fished Lake Jordan in years but hope to get there sometime in 2017, hope I get the pleasure of meeting the both of you.
God Speed and be Safe on the Water. Oh yea I caught my 2 pounder a few year ago. I will locate the picture and post in a another thread.

Thanks to all for your kind words.
My every fishing accomplishment has been possible only through my meeting, learning, and competing against great fisher persons on this site. You can't enjoy fishing unless you are catching fish and the pros we have in NC will show you how to "catch fish".
For me, I've got a mean wife (retired Army Colonel) that threatened to get rid of my boat and equip unless I got busy and brought in some fish
Thanks c.c you saved me

Nice fish hunter!!!!! Im hung on the 2lb. I cant seem to find anything any bigger. I think I need to change locations and fish where some bigger fish are. Good Luck to you and Dennis!
