No, not really. I went up the river and that is were we found the hole holding all those fish. On Sunday I was packing things up to leave and thought I would drop a line at the dock. I got a couple of bites but nothing really to speak of. I was about to call it and I saw that guy swimming around the dock maybe a foot deep. Pulled up my minnow about 2 feet deep and he caught a sight of the minnow, and I dropped the line back down about 6 feet. Well my friend here dove down like a dart after the minnow and in about 30 seconds I had him in my hand. Too much fun to see them in action.

Had the privilege to have Steve and Adoliah Colbert fish with me yesterday. Cold, cloudy, windy day with a wt of 52at 9am and warming up to 57 before we loaded at 230pm with a limit of black and white crappie. Target depths were 14' to 20' on the outside edges of the breaklines on wood. Bite was weird today with the lp overhead but I expected that and came ready with a bucket of minnows drop shotting in wood. 45 crappie, 5 sandbass, 1 spotted bass, 1 hybrid stripper, 1 catfish. I will say yesterday wasn't tennis shoe weather and it's always colder on the water, that's something both my clients will remember for a long time even after several conversations during the week. Not many pictures today cause all they wanted to do was sit in a warm truck and get the feeling back in their feet while I cleaned fish.......Ranger

Went out with Frank300 today and we'd had enough at 3:00. 6 nice fish for the oil, 2 named Houdini and several youngsters. Was all in em but they didn't like us today. ( must have caught the glow off of Frank's boat). Ran into EB and Chris pretty early but I wasn't sure cause the first was still on the nippers ifn you catch that! Later in the day got accused of stealing a fishing hole by none other than you know who. ( love when that happens)! Had a nice visit with Ranger and FGB. Always glad to see them boys, means I'm doing something right! Regardless of the outcome, what a glorious day to be on the water!
