We're far enough from our preferred lakes that we need to use the interstate for a portion of the trip. How are you guys securing your rigged rods for the wind at that speed. Specifically, how are your rods wrapped to keep things from coming loose and tearing off floats, et?
We are using tip saver rod holders for the long rods and laying the short rods on the lower level of the boat deck. Not worried about having a rod fly out of the boat, just tired of finding that something has unwrapped during transit.

As your line ages you will fine that a few will break. I just retie when I get to the lake. Needed to anyhow
I use little plastic hair clips from dollar store. Keeps line weight tight to the rod
