    Finally found one I've tied that actually catches fish, so had to tie a few, the 'loner' is one given to Slab had to borrow for a pattern after he caught more than me.--shuName:  DSCN2335.jpg

    'G' you're right the 'grey ghost' was the one the fish really liked, but had some feathers and had never tried any so added them in and tried fingernail polish for color and see how it held up.-(worked well in grass during spawn)---shu

    Awesome jigs! I love em.
    Mallard flank feathers, low movement.....sweet in subtle bites. A guy in another forum perfected a tie with it using wool as an underbody to form a profile. I tried and it liked it.
    "Grey ghost" is just color and sparseness. Have cut a few heads to resemble the original heads and modified a mold to pour em.... It's just the natural coloration at a time when that color is prime. Natural forage. Think "hatch"
