Size: 50.9 KB Due to recent events (having 12 rods in the boat and losing a big Ol' pig) have gone to braid, bonehead red #12 and made a temporary rod holder till I find one I don't need to drill holes in my boat for.

I tried braid over a year ago and wasn't found of it. I switched back to mono. It wasn't until about 2 months ago I loaded my reels backup with braid due to having issues with my mono and love it now.

Hey now, that was just one rod that had 15' of line on it! I do need a net. If anybody can recommend a good collapsible net for crappie I would appreciate it.

I just bought a Frabil with extendinG handle. The net is rubber. I'm thinking it might be easier to remove a hung jig. Cost was 29 bucks at BPS

rubber is the only way to go for a no hook tangle. However, Grizzly Jig sells one that is completely collapsible, but they are not rubber.
