Thread: Oklahoma Spring Crappie Camp Scheduled !!!!

Have enjoyed reading posts for a few years now and plan to fish wister this weekend with my son. I have a place to stay but not sure where to register, is it wister state park and is that where the activities will be? I fish north end of eufaula and only at wister one time but look forward to meeting everyone. Hope to be on the lake by Friday at 3:00

Well I guess I'm out now. I got an email from one of my project groups needing to meet while I'm supposed to be gone so I'll be working on school stuff instead of enjoying myself. Maybe I can get to one of the upcoming camps.

18March2015 UPDATE......Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Spring Camp at Lake Wister this Friday - Sunday. The Lake Level is high, however, Wister Slab Daddy was on the Lake yesterday and said the ramps are accessible and the camping areas and cabins are in good shape. If you arrive on Thursday, several of us are going to Bev's Café in Wister for dinner around 6:00 pm. If you need minnows, go to Wister Short Stop, 205 Highway 270. (918) 655-7474.

Set up camper today at victor landing. The lake is still coming up. 12 feet above normal and all gates closed. Hitting the water in the mornin.

I was on my way down to spend an afternoon at the crappie camp but stopped at gaines creek to check the sandies and wound up fishing there all weekend.
