Thread: Fishing trips this year ?????

Lake Palestine Texas in March
Kentucky lake in April
Lake Ontario in July
Alabama gulf in Sept

Lake Erie, Alum Creek, Deer Creek, Indian Lake in Ohio as much as I can.

I went out with Chris last fall and had a blast. Great guy and would make a good guide too. We fished the Hiawassee River area. He showed me his board setups too. Heading back down April 26-30, cant wait.

Board setup ? Are you talking planer boards? I use small ones when pulling cranks some times..... Only when fishing 4 or more rods though (with multiple people) church tackle co tx-6 magnum are perfect size.

I think I am gonna follow You guys around all year, so I can learn how to catch more Crappie! naww I bought a nice used 17.5ft Tracker, so I will be able to fish bigger waters this year, Brookville and East Fork are on my list for sure

trying to figure out my plans for kentucky lake in april. Thanks to crappiemax for your info. been looking at the bear creek area. alot of resorts in this area and it seems to be a pretty good area from the map i have been looking at. any suggestions from anyone?

That is a good area. I'll be right across the lake from there and will probably make it over there some. I saw your post on the Ky Board. Listen to Wiskers, he's da man.

Liprippersc78, you could always give lake Barkley a shot, we went there last year and did pretty well. We stayed at eddy creek marina. Nice place, clean rooms, good food in the restaurant although food is kinda pricey, it sure hit the spot after a long day of fishing. We will be going back in April.
