12.16 is pretty easy to beat most of the time during pre spawn and spawning periods on conway, it all depends on the weather and rain!!!!!
My boss found this in some old files. I thought it was pretty cool. As you can see Capps and Coleman were pretty good back then too. If they weighed 7 fish that would be a 1.7 pound average. Pretty dang good. I hope you CACA anglers can get similar results. Maybe a team could weigh a 14 pound sack.

I'll second that on the weather! I hope it doesn't snow again this year the day before the tournament!

Yeah I remember now. I worked that tournament and the one in 2010 on Conway. I think Donald Blakley and someone won the first one. I wonder if Crappie Masters will come back. It seemed like a lot of the guys with the big fiberglass bass boats were not happey with all of the stumps in the lake. I think a couple of them even busted up some lower units.

Anyone know the second place (bunch and bunch) team? I think they used to have a trailer by my grandpa in Sardis. Wayne and Barry maybe? They were older than me but I remember the names.
I know the Bunch bro there's. They no longer fish. One of them is no longer with us. Both if them were great fishermen.
We traveled with the third please team, the Thaxtons (James and Michael) from Blytheville, and Wayne and Barry Bunch. We fished together back in the Crappiethon days. I even fished a Crappiethon tourney at Harris Chain, FL with Mr. Bunch (Ed) back in the day. I also fished a Crappiethon tourney at Wapappello with the oldest Thaxton son JR. He was a fireman at that time. That was before Crappie USA
We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.
My grandpa, bub brewer, had a place down at hearns originally and then back behind bucks in "Arkansas park" where mr bunch had one also. I just hadn't seen or heard that name in many years.
Kool stuff Matt. Maybe we can get Crappie USA or CM to come back to Conway someday.
