    The problem with too much PVC in the concrete is that the structure will break apart while handling. Be sure to use enough concrete to get it thick enough or leave it in the dishpan and sink it that way. I had one break apart on me one time while handling because I had to many pipes and not deep enough concrete.

    I ended up getting a concrete mixer from habor freights....I am so happy that I purchased it...Saves so much time and don't have to do back breaking work..

    A suggestion: the 8` lenght may cause the attractor to be unstable. Try cutting it in half at 4`; this significantly lowers it`s center of gravity; if someone hits it with a deeper lure it could knock a taller 1 over onto it`s side. PLUS it allows 2X as many. Everything else being equal, MORE tends to be "better". And lastly yes, use the screws, for the time and money it`s cheap insureance...
