Talked to Josh (bonehead) yesterday, he is changing hosts on his website. It will be back up fairly soon. Sure he will chime in soon.
Well one of my Rods broke last Sunday. I emailed josh, I sent a private message and no response. It snapped when I set the hook on a fish. I liked the rod but with but not much support afterword. Just an FYI.
I think he is out of town at this time. I will get a hold of him and let him know what is going on for you buddy. I apologize about the problems that you are having with the rod.
Bobo.
Hey whats going on I been out of town. We bought another company out and dealing with transferring everything over. My wife said she sent you a email asking for your address. she must have sent it to the wrong one. Any time you cant get me in a PM or a Email give me a call. My number is on the Website. Please shoot me another PM with your address and ill get another one in the mail Tuesday morning. Thanks And sorry again Josh
Has turned into my favorite rod! Just ordered one more for me, and one for my brother!
Tell you what, I lost a couple of nice fish, fishing some light rods that cost double what the boneheads run. Bank fishing, trying to hoist them out of the water. Then I remembered Josh stating that he built his rods to lift those 3lb Sippi crappie. Switched to the Bonehead tackle rod and hung several nice ones. Didn't lose them swinging them in. I'm a caster and love to cast to these fish. The Bonehead is a heavier rod and after 400-500 casts it lets you know it! Basically a trade off in my opinion. I like the rods and the man behind them is even better.
Most men spend their entire life fishing, without realizing its not the fish they are after!
Are they expensive?? How do they compare to the 7' st croix premier?
