I wouldn't even attempt trolling with 6lb line......Them cranks are too danged expensive any more. 20lb braid is my minimum and a stick to wrap it around to get'em out of them snags.
    Just my

I ran out of here without any rod or reel that had any higher rated test line on it. I just wanted to test what it would feel like. I have some braid line that I should have used. But I do have a rod that I carry in the boat for those times that I hang up something I got it at Bass Pro its called a Telescopic Lure Retriever. I have used it when the wife gets out a buzz bait and starts playing with it. That was before she figured out how to crappie jig fish and whip my butt! It works great and it stays in the rod box on the boat.

Maybe I need to head up that way and team up with Vic n heck with the both of us maybe together we could start landing a few. Our bad luck cant continue much longer. My wife purchased Beagleman's camera system for me so I could put it down in the water to see what a Crappie looked like!

Now Vic my grand dad always said even a blind hog will root out a nut once in a while. What we need to do is just think positive! You and I need to have some fishing shirts printed up with Team Zero on them. And we need to only enter fishing tournaments together that pay for not harming fish by hooking them.
