Outstanding!!!!! They Caught Me, Couldn't Stop Looking.
Here are a couple baits that came from the same shot using a 2.5" shad mold from Do-It. I hand poured the belly clear and then hand poured the center line colors, one smoke one hot pink. The hot pink was mixed stronger for another use earlier and fit right in with this particular use. The top color then went in to finish the baits. If one thinks about it, if the finish color is one that will work for both bait's color schemes, 12 entirely different baits could be shot at one time. All of these shown came from one injection using purple as the finish color.
The body of this bait is longer than the shad I have been using lately and the tail section is also longer and whippier.

Those are gorgeous--too pretty to waste on fish!
Look purdy!
Thats my favorite mold. A good tip for that mold: since the tail is so long and thin, use harder plastic than u normally would! Even with hard plastisol that tail dances and doesnt droop. I mixed my own hardness that came in a notch or two softer than a hard plastisol and to me it was perfect for these. Had a lot of reports of over 50 fish on a soft plastic bait.
Very Nice!!!!!!!!
Dig the Pink and Purple - Very Nice!!!
