I have both liquid and powder from Do-It [former caney creek] and they both get the job done nicely. With the liquid you have a bit more precise control over how much is needed to get what you want.
I was wondering what everyone's preference was when it comes to colorant liquid or powder especially in pearl. I bought liquid pearl colorant from janns netcraft a while back and it seems to take a lot to get a good pearl look to my plastic. I was considering trying powder pearl from canney creek. But I was wondering if powder was the was to go or not.

If you use the powder stir it in before you cook the plastic.
You can make your own pearl liquid using some worm oil and pearl powder. Put it in a dropper bottle with a stainless nut and shake it before use. Works fine.

I prefer powder form of pearls and hilites. I add them just before shooting.
