Sorry to hi jack this thread, but I have some of the same questions. I'm heading over for the 2nd week in July to the dells. Been to the dells many times but never have taken the boat and crappie fished over there. Anywhere to do some decent fishing at that time of the year within an hour or so to the dells? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Why not head up to Birchwood, Plenty of real good panfish lakes in the area... My neighbor loves this place. He is up there right now...
