    Slabs,

    Where's your cabin at?
We head up to the Danbury/Webster area in about a month.

    Hey Crappoli,

My cabin's up in Birchwood on Big Chetac.

Headin up there tonight actually.... I try to get up there as many weekends as I can in the summer. If I'm not fishin at the cabin... well, it's probably Phish tour (ie next weekend.. heh).
Wintertime i'm up probably 1-2x a month. Ice fishin is fun... but growing up in the (relative) south, I just don't like the cold. Winter for me is the movie/video game season... and the prep for open water.

How's the fishin over in Dandbury? Sep should be a good time of year to be there... right temps for air and water.

Fishin great in Danbury that time.
The only thing keeping me from going up more is the 5 1/2 hour drive.
We went up in mid June and did real well also.
Good luck this weekend. Im headed about 3 hours south to fish a flooded timber

Just got back to the Twin Cities on Tuesday.I have a RV trailer in Clam Falls about 45 minutes southeast of Danbury and Webster.Fishing for crappies has been real decent as of late.

I have been mainly fishing the early mornings and around sunset to pick up my limits on a daily basis. Most of my fish have been on heavier hair jigs casted past the deeper weed lines and skipped under docks and bridges.Hope to get back up there in the next few weeks.I'll be there for sure on the 21st as my buddy is having a pigroast birthday party and can't miss that.:D

I've got the boat, the minnows and gas. Grab your pole and jump in. Will enjoy the company and who knows - maybe I'll learn a new trick or two! Crappie fishing is the best and it sure gets exciting when you tie into a school no matter who's line they're on.
