    Default Cut bait

    I'm cornfused so I'm asking for experience/opinions......
Often in talking to Striper folks I'm told "we caught them on cut bait" or "cut bait was better than live today". I'm hearing there's several versions of cut bait so what is the best presentation you use and when?
    1. Cut bait into chunks?
    2. Cut fins and tail off?
    3. Cut slices in sides of bait and leave whole?
    4. others?

Thanks in advance for any input/help!!!

I always used chunks or the whole fish if small.

When using cut skipjack for catfish I use steaks for lack of a better term. Any part with the guts in it works well
