Not my go to lure anymore but have caught a ton of breaking whites and spawners on a 1/4 once chrome roostertail. i allways say anything white or shiny for white bass.

I have a bunch of inline spinners that I have picked up in multi packs or inherited that are in colors I don't use. Typically I only use white and chrome or maybe black on a cloudy day. I a lot of the ones I don't use are wild colors which I would describe as rainbow. I was just wondering what you would use them for besides trout.

Throw those "wild colors" at the same times you'd throw white/chrome/black !! When White Bass are chasing Shad or busting them on the surface, they're looking to pick out a straggler or one separated from the school (after the initial busting of the school) ... and they're in a feeding frenzy (ie - competition with all the others in their school) so they're not quite as picky about "color". They're just looking for the telltale flash of a fleeing Shad, which your inline spinner blade already provides, and which the "wild color" may also reflect.

Ok guys. I made a choice good or bad. I heard you say white, white with blue, silver, etc.. I also heard a little touch of red at the end. I had some custom jigs made with white, blue, and a touch of red. Think they will catch white bass?

I like the touch or red at the end myself. I think it may increase hookups as that is the end that you want them to hit? Maybe it looks like gills? Lures are so unnatural looking to me I get confused :-)

Silverside .... I'm gonna go out on a limb and say "well, duh" of course they'll catch White Bass (& probably several other types of "bass", Crappie, and several other species of fish that you get them in front of)
