I've never done it, but an In-Fishermen mag I had awhile back had a good
article on on doing just that - it was on the Cumberland River. They were
fishing HUGE skipjack and shad behind planer boards. Sounds like fun!
How many on here fish for striper's below dams for them?
I catch a few Below Pickwick dam, But have never fished for them a lot.
How do you rig up to fish for them there?
I use a 3 way swivel and 3ft leader on the hook and then on the bottom one. I use a 1' dropper to a 3 to 5 oz sinker.
Most of the time we fish top water for them. but would like to start catching more on live bait.
Also anyone use planer boards for them? i have a few places that I bet dragging a big skip jack or shad along the edge of the tree tops. Would catch a few nice ones.
Pete

Jeff I have gotten to see that same thing on TV 2 times. And I have a few places I know it will work on. And this fall I believe I can come up a bunch of nice ones .Originally Posted by J White
