Hartwell most of the time and Russell at certain times of the year
Speaking of BassMasters we have the FLW boys here on Hartwell this weekend
Nice looking fish guys I have been working in the N.C. mountains for the last 10 days, I couldn't check the site next week I'll be back on the internet,The bad news is there is not a lake with striper anywhere near me, so you guys keep posting reports and pictures. I've seen lots of guy catching bait(trout) in the creeks.
I sure miss the sound of the bait clicker, I was to beat to put the boat in today, plus Bass Master tournament on Norman this weekend.
Hey: tprice which lake in S.C. do you fish?

Nice fish guys, great job. I usually fish Hartwell , but work and the weather has had me tied up so I haven't had much time to striper fish this year. Hopefully in April I can get there and catch a few. Good luck and good fishing.
RUST NEVER SLEEPS
YOU HAVE NOT MISSED A THING this winter, I do not get to fish much until after April 15th but even in Dec/Jan the lake water temp got cold and the fish have been very hard to come by.
I normally try and get out a few Sat/Sunday afternoons this time of year but the reports from guys that I know that fish a lot tell me to keep working
April should be a great month this year for stripers here on Hartwell.
Hey Price; Let me know when you going to start fishing, I would like to pull my boat to Hartwell and give it a try one weekend. I need to give Norman a break. Maybe I can catch some of them big one's. Are there any motels near the lake?
Sure will, I am own an Accounting/Income tax business so needless to say I do not get much fishing in for the next few weeks.
There are plenty of hotels and such along I 85 and it depends on which section of the lake you want to fish. Best place to launch is Portman Marina or Broyles since you can get bait right at either one and this is pretty much the center of the lake.
Be glad to tell you where to go and what to use when I get back on them, for right now I am pretty much stuck with fishing on message boards(lol).
