Been getting a few wipers below the dam at Red Rock spillway here in Iowa.Size's range from 1/4lb to 3 1/2-4lb.Would be better if they could decide on a consistant water level.

    Default They're starting here

They're starting to run good in central Indiana. Got out for 2 hours Friday evening and caught 90. Went back out Sunday evening for 2 more hours and caught well over 100. Most are males, several of which have been milting when you grab them too hard, but getting a few females, also. With this rain in the forecast I think the bite will be good for a little while. They seem to like the extra current in the rivers right now. Used spinners on Thu. and jigs on Sun.

Here in the N.Ky, South West Ohio region we are flooded with high water to where you cant fish as the water is so high or higher than normal. I am wondering if we are going to miss the run. Crappie, Bluegill, Hybrids and Smallmouth is what makes my teeth chatter in the spring.

GEEEZ here in IL you cant find the fish for the water. Every creek, river and lake I know of is 20 feet over flood stage or closed to rec. traffic.
