Reelsmoke, believe it or not, I just run one spoon on about a 3' leader behind the schoolie rig. There are no hooks in the schoolie rig, it's an in-line job with chrome fish shaped blades that turn as the baits being pulled through the water. Man it looks good in the water, and entices some big strikes. You'd be amazed at the size hybrids we've caught running the rigs. Here's a picture of my daughter with a 10lb'er and an 8+ we caught on Barren River Lake. She was pretty excited about out-fishing dad, and I sure didn't mind.
