    White bass at 2.59 & 2.79lbs Both citations, also a white crappie and a black crappie at 1lb 10oz each, the 2012 Buggs Bash winning fish

    Caught Shad and went to Chouteau Bend all the way up to the low water this morning,first couple hours nothing but a few small blues on shad,nothin on jigs or spoons.Was just about to give up and about half way back to the boat launch seen um bustin shad every where,my wife and I caught over 50 in about 45 minutes casting little cleos with a small jig trailer.It was the only part of the river protected from the wind wich was brutal for us small boat guys.Great day with the wife...

    They must have generous limits for keeping fish in Louisiana! Nice mess of fish for sure... The White Bass I posted actually turned out to be the biggest in the state of Virginia for the month of march...Hopefully for the year...
