Me and my daughter went today after work and only one short fish. Inlaws had 30 today. They fished all day.
Talked to several people today since i had stuff to do. Everyone said the bite was slow and not very easy to find fish. dad caught 3 keepers at west sandy, buddy caught one at perryville, another buddy zeroed on area lake. thought these fish would be shallow and ready for a meal with 62 degree water. someone please help, wanting to go this weekend and really wondering where to start.

had a buddy fished perryville all day and had three fish all day, one keeper. man i figured the fish would be shallow and hungry.
fished harmons today bite slow 3 crappie total all keepers
Fished Cypress Creek and Beaverdam area. 0 fish! 4 hours.
God is good...all the time.:D
The problem is the water is up about 4 ft. All these fish that the inlaws caught were in the bushes. They got 42 in two days. Maybe they will cook this weekend.
what does that do to em AB. I thought they would just move up into the shallow water anyway.
THANK GOODNESS... I thought it was just me!!! :D
The wife and I fished Lost Creek / Beech River yesterday. Zero crappie. We focused on the bushes and shallow stake beds. Good news is, the surface temp was 63.5 when we left... getting there.
Great day, though. Wife caught a 4.5lb largemouth. She was crankin that ultra-light reel at about a million revolutions per second, drag screaming, gears smokin and her hollering that there was something wrong with the reel. Man, wish I had my video camera!!!:D:D:D
