The wife and I fished Friday and did real well on crappie and perch. I fished solo today and had my first good catch of bluegill and a great perch bite. Crappie were harder to come by today but I caught 2 of my bigger crappie of the year.

Fishing is terrible too hot to go 105 to 106 every day it’s getting really tiring down here don’t let up inside we got another for five days 104° weather and then a station in the hundreds in September. water temperature is over 85°. is the whole degree weather way over a month the trees are dying I mean literally everything around us is drying up. I never seen anything like it extreme fire danger here we’ve had a lot of fires in Texas already put in there every day someone’s got something going wrong or something.

Nice fish! They are definitely putting on the feed bags right now. Locally the fish are bitting well! We will plan our trip a little bit better for the snake next year.
